The Lake George Auto/Marine family got a little smaller today… the patriarch of our family has passed away after a courageous battle against colon cancer. Bob started this business with his loving wife of 44 years, hoping to build a home for his family… 35 years later, he retired after building a community resource that we carry on today. He will be sorely missed as a mentor, but most importantly, as a friend. There will be a celebration of his life in the near future in his true home of Lake George. We will update you all as the time draws near. May the Pike in heaven find their way to your hook for eternity..

It has been two weeks since a fire broke out at Dano’s home. The community outreach has been nothing but amazing… a huge shout out to the firefighters who saved a majority of his home, and everyone who has come forward to offer their support and help in this tragic situation.

Just a public relations announcement; we will be closed on Monday January 2nd in order to give our staff and their families time to prepare for an amazing 2023. The creeping crud/ non corona specific cold has ransacked our store. By giving our employees an extra day, our hope is to start off the New Year on the right foot forward.
