This week, both R&L Spring Company and Medicoil celebrated one of our favorite annual traditions... our Ice Cream Socials! 🍦

These events are something our employees look forward to every year, and we're grateful for everyone who came out to enjoy a sweet treat while supporting a great cause.

Together, our employees raised $400 for United Way of Walworth County, and we're proud to match that amount to make an even bigger impact in our community.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this year's Ice Cream Socials another success. Supporting our employees and giving back to the communities where we live and work is something we're proud to be a part of!

Today, we celebrate an incredible milestone as we wish Enrique A. a very happy retirement!

Enrique's journey with R&L Spring spans an amazing 25 years. He spent his first 20 years with us when R&L Spring was still located in Illinois before returning five years ago to finish his career where it all began.

Over the years, Enrique has become someone everyone could count on. There isn't a machine in the building he can't run, and his knowledge, dedication, and strong work ethic have made a lasting impact on our team. Just as importantly, Enrique's kindness, positive attitude, and willingness to help others have made him a friend to so many of us. He truly makes our workplace a better place.

As we celebrate 250 years of America, everyone at R&L Spring and Medicoil would like to wish you and your loved ones a safe, happy, and memorable Independence Day weekend. We hope you have the opportunity to relax, spend time with family and friends, and enjoy the traditions that make this holiday so special.

Today we celebrate a remarkable milestone and an even more remarkable person. For 30 years, Yolanda has been an essential part of our team, serving in Quality and making a positive impact on everyone around her.

Yolanda is much more than an outstanding employee. She is a trusted colleague, a reliable source of knowledge, a friend to many, and someone who is always willing to step up and help wherever needed. ⚾ Yesterday, we had the pleasure of treating our R&L Spring and Medicoil team members to an Employee Appreciation Outing at the ballpark!

It was a beautiful day for baseball, great food, and even better company on the Johnsonville Party Deck. While the Brewers didn't come away with the win, the day was filled with plenty of laughs, conversations, and memories with our amazing team.

A sincere thank you to all of our employees for your hard work, dedication, and the positive impact you make every day. Opportunities like this are a small way for us to show our appreciation for everything you do. We are grateful to have such an incredible team behind R&L Spring and Medicoil.

At R&L Spring & Medicoil, we believe investing in the next generation is important to the future of manufacturing and our local communities. That’s why we were proud to participate in the Craftsman with Character program again this year.

Since January, students have rotated through both facilities, spending time alongside our teams and gaining real-world exposure to the manufacturing industry. A major focus of the program was helping students understand the importance of professionalism, communication, reliability, teamwork, showing up on time, and having a strong work ethic. These are valuable life and career skills that will benefit them no matter what path they choose.

Another goal of the program was to help students see that manufacturing offers so many different career opportunities beyond what is traditionally thought of. From maintenance and engineering to quality, operations, and machine operating roles, students were able to experience the variety of paths available within the industry.

It was especially rewarding to watch our employees step into mentorship roles and help guide the students throughout the program by sharing their knowledge, experiences, and advice for future success.

We are also excited to share that after successfully completing the program, Hayden will be joining R&L Spring full-time next week as a Maintenance Trainee. Congratulations, Hayden! We look forward to having you on the team and are excited for what’s ahead.
