Essential Services. 4 sets of S65B40 rod bearings from the past few days. All 4 engines range from 50-85k miles, 3 of which are the newer style 702/703 bearings. As you can see here, no model year is safe and as these cars begin to age the more of these engines are failing due to bearing failure. This is the most essential service for all S65, S85 and S54 engines, don’t wait until it’s too late.
