For our August superlative, we're celebrating our Community Hero! These team members go above and beyond to make a positive impact in their local communities through service, leadership, and volunteerism. Their dedication to helping others reflects the values that make our teams and communities stronger.

Congratulations to our August winner, Jon Jovenall from Switch-N-Go! Jon has dedicated the past 13 years to serving his community as a volunteer firefighter with the Sandy Lake Volunteer Fire Department in Pennsylvania and currently serves as the department's President. In addition to responding to emergencies, Jon helps organize fundraising events, including Touch-A-Truck events, and supports efforts to provide meals for members of the community. At Switch-N-Go, Jon is a valued leader who is respected by his peers, and his commitment to serving others makes him a deserving Community Hero.

Jason Snyder (Bucks Fabricating) has spent 23 years with the company while also dedicating his time to serving his local community. Jason has been a member of the Commodore Perry School Board for eight years and currently serves as School Board President. He has also served on the Mercer County Career Center Joint Operating Committee for four years and is currently Vice Chair. Through his leadership and commitment to education, Jason continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of local students and families.

Jesse Smasne (OSW Equipment) consistently demonstrates a strong commitment to both her community and the people around her. She is often the first to volunteer for community events, recently stepping up to help cook breakfast for families through the Ronald McDonald House Brunch Buddies program. Her caring attitude extends beyond volunteer work, as she regularly checks on drivers during hot weather by offering water and Gatorade to help keep them comfortable and hydrated. Jesse's willingness to help others and give back to her community makes her a valued member of the OSW team.
