Jim Inglese announces the availability of a faithful reproduction of the Weber 58DSF carburetors
originally developed for the Shelby Cobra 427 in 1963, and first seen on the famous "Flip Top" Cobra. The DSF designation came from "Doppio Scarico Frazionato" which referenced split ports.
A small handful of these big-bore carburetors were made for use on the Ford bigblock FE
competition engines, and today, those originals are rarer than hen’s teeth and worth a fortune.

The new 58mm carburetors are exquisitely reproduced in every detail, and are sold in sets of four.
The authentic reproduction data plates are available from another source and can be added, or the
customer can purchase them separately and send them for attachment while their carbs are being
prepared. Manifolds are under development for these carburetors to mount on a Ford FE engine.

Each set of carburetors is custom-jetted to order, and the lead time for prep and shipping is 1 week.
Orders are being filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Jim Inglese announces the reintroduction of his original small-block Chevrolet valve covers. Last produced over 40 years ago, the originals have all but disappeared.
A limited run of 50 sets will be produced, with delivery scheduled for the first quarter of 2026. Due to their limited availability, pre-orders are being accepted.
The valve covers mount via two posts attached to the cylinder heads with extended head bolts, eliminating the four mounting screws in the lower fl**ge. The design was inspired by the European dual overhead cam V8s of the 1960s. Two high-peak chrome acorn nuts secure the covers to the heads; the same method that was also used on vintage Oldsmobile and Ford V8 engines.
The valve covers will be priced at $795 per set in natural cast finish. including mounting hardware. Extra-cost finishes will be available. Shown in Tactical Grey Cerakote® with optional matching breather cap. Call (203) 623-0659 to pre-order!
