We were thrilled to support ICEPORT 2025 at Lake Mille Lacs, Minnesota, the world's largest ice fly-in! It's an amazing event, and we were honored to donate windsocks and frames to help ensure a safe and successful day. Seeing so many planes on ice is truly something special! It's inspiring to see the aviation community come together like this. A big thank you to Mark Priglmeier and all the organizers and volunteers for making it happen. We have a full-time sewing position available at our Lake City location.
At Airport Windsock Corporation, we have been delivering windsocks to the aviation industry for over 20 years. We pride ourselves on delivering a quality crafted American made product, right here in Lake City, Minnesota. This full-time position is responsible for Cutting, sewing and grommeting airport windsocks. Along with these duties, will be a variety of other operations involved with getting the product to market, such as assisting with shipping, component assembly and product packaging.

Entry Level Metal Fabrication and Facility Maintenance

Job Description – Entry level metal fabrication, facility maintenance & shop assistant.
This position would be a great way to learn a new profession in metal fabrication. The position doesn’t require any previous experience and we are more than happy to train. The metal fabrication would be mostly fabrication and tig welding of mild steel with some limited amount of stainless. This is a great opportunity to learn the skill of tig welding without having to attend a technical college. You will start with the basics of tig welding and progess into more complex welding as your skill level increases. This is a perfect position for someone that wants to learn a new skill and likes a job with diversity.

Job Description
Shop Helper/facility maintenance – This position would be an overall shop assistant. It would include some preliminary duties that would start with shop and grounds improvement, such as lawn care or building painting and transition into more entry level fabrication.

We would also consider a short-term candidate as an interim position before heading back to college this fall. It would make a great summer job.

Starting pay $15.00 per hour
