Our Story
We build Weber carburetion systems for V8’s as well as 4 and 6 cylinder inline engines, specializing in period-correct details where required on 60’s era Cobras and GT 40’s. We offer more styles and varieties of 8-stack EFI systems for V8’s than any other source. In addition to modern EFI’s, we can build EFI system with throttle bodies that look just like Weber carburetors with Bosche injectors hidden inside. We are also a full service Weber rebuilding and restoration shop for OEM Weber carburetors on classic Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Porsche, Alfa, and other exotics. Because specialty vehicles sit for long periods of time, the gas left in a carburetor can turn into a varnish. This acts like glue, cementing the moving parts, and clogging small orifices. Some of the Weber IDA's and DCOE's use a brass piston for an accelerator pump. This piston rides inside a close-tolerance bore, just like a piston in a cylinder. Sometimes the pump pistons become cemented in place over time. In addition, the passageways inside the carburetors become clogged, especially the ones with the very tiny holes. The small steel balls in the check valves also become glued in place, and the check valves become no longer functional. When this happens, the carburetors become non-functional until they are completely dismantled, cleaned, and re-assembled with fresh parts to make everything work like new again. Only factory gaskets, rebuild kits, and other Weber replacement parts are used, many of which are purchased from Europe. Most Weber carburetors can be completely restored and made to operate like new again, even after 40 years.
Our capabilities range from simple rebuilds to full 100-point Weber carburetor restorations, which include vapor-blasted castings, refinished brass, and re-plated steel parts.
