Rooted in service. Powered by community. That is the spirit of National Public Works Week, and we were proud to celebrate it with the City of Lake Charles Public Works team.

Our Community Engagement Team served up hot barbecue plate lunches as a small thank you to the men and women who keep Lake Charles running. Roads, drainage, water systems, garbage and recycling, parks, traffic signals, public facilities and emergency support all depend on the work they do every day.

To the 400 members of Lake Charles Public Works, thank you for taking care of our city.

Today was a big day for SOWELA, and we were honored to be part of the celebration.

Lake Charles Toyota had the privilege of serving lunch as SOWELA Technical Community College celebrated the Class of 2026 and recognized the hard work that brought each graduate to this moment. Whether their next step is a career, continued education or a new opportunity, these graduates are helping build the future of Southwest Louisiana.

In honor of National Police Week, Lake Charles Toyota was proud to set up the mobile kitchen at the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office and serve lunch to the men and women who serve Southwest Louisiana every day.

More than 600 plates were served with barbecue chicken, pastalaya, beans, potato salad, rolls and brownie bites.

This marks our 13th year providing lunch for CPSO’s annual service awards, and it is always a privilege to say thank you in person.

We’re proud to support events that bring families, volunteers, and the community together. Congratulations to the Calcasieu Area Council, Boy Scouts of America, St. Luke-Simpson United Methodist Church, Troop 1, and every volunteer who helped make this year’s council-wide Pinewood Derby such a success!

It was our pleasure to provide lunch for a day full of creativity, friendly competition, and community spirit.

Rain could not slow this crew down! Today our Lake Charles Toyota Community Engagement Team brought the 1794 Edition Tundra, the cooker, and a whole lot of hospitality to Lake Charles Country Club for the Southwest Louisiana FCA annual golf tournament.

From Shawn’s barbecue beans to juicy, tender chicken, it was a great day of food, fellowship, and supporting coaches and athletes across our community.

This week, Lake Charles Toyota had the privilege of celebrating the educators who pour so much into our students every day.

Our community engagement team fired up the pit and served hot barbecue lunches for the teachers and staff at Our Lady's School in Sulphur, Bishop Noland Episcopal Day School, Alfred M. Barbe High School, Lake Charles College Prep, Positive Connections and Hamilton Christian Academy.

To every teacher, coach, counselor, administrator and staff member, thank you for the patience, heart and dedication you bring to our community.
