D&K is excited to be a part of bringing more affordable housing to Burlington. Our MEP team collaborated on the Post Apartments, a five-story, 48,000-SF building with 38 housing units and two commercial suites.

After four years, the City of Concord and the project team took a victory lap as they cut the ribbon on their new parking garage. D&K worked with multiple teaming partners to design a new downtown parking garage. The four-story structure spans a full city block, adds over 600 parking spaces, and matches the surrounding historic architecture. The project also included traffic studies, street improvements, and pedestrian safety upgrades.

Move over Charlie Brown and Linus, D&K’s Wilbur Horton just grew the Great Pumpkin!

Congratulations to our Senior Electrical Engineer Wilbur Horton, PE, on taking first place at the Champlain Valley Expo Center's annual pumpkin weigh-off. His 1,226.5-pound entry earned him his third championship title.

It takes a village to reshape a campus. This fall, students returning to University of Maine's campus will notice new parking, pathways, green space, and a redesigned Long Road—four projects D&K is proud to have worked on with the university, contractors, and the broader community.

Changing small things about our day-to-day habits can greatly improve our overall wellness, which is why D&K is running a Step Challenge for employees this month. Whether it's walking the dog, hitting a favorite trail, or on the job site (like these D&Kers), every step counts. Staff across our offices are logging steps for a chance to win. We’ve seen plenty of entries to our raffle so far and love seeing everyone staying active.

D&K has been cataloguing, testing, and modeling the Bangor water system as part of a large-scale project with the Bangor Water District. This summer, our intern Kai worked alongside city crews to help collect data that will be vital to the project.

Thanks to the Bangor Water District , and the Bangor International Airport for letting Kai be part of the testing effort.
