Never thought I’d become my own nail tech.

💅🏼If you told me a few years ago that I’d be doing my own structural gel manicures at home, I would have laughed. Back then, a salon visit was my non-negotiable «me-time.»But then life happened. Raising three kids with zero outside help means your schedule doesn’t belong to you anymore. Trying to book a 2-hour salon appointment, coordinate babysitting, or leave the house without a minor crisis? Nearly impossible. So, out of pure necessity, I bought a lamp, a few files, and decided to figure it out myself. And you know what? I absolutely love it.

Turns out, sitting down late at night when the kids are finally asleep, turning on my favorite show, and focusing on this little detail just for myself has become my ultimate form of therapy and self-care.
It’s quiet, it’s creative, and my nails look exactly the way I want them to.
We don’t need a luxury salon budget to feel put-together and beautiful. Sometimes, the best luxury is the one you create with your own hands.

✨If you’re a busy mom wanting to save time and money, I can totally share my exact beginner-friendly routine and the tools I use!
Drop a 💅🏼 in the comments if you want me to make a step-by-step breakdown!

Motherhood taught me how to give everything.

But it also taught me something I wish I had understood sooner:

You can’t keep pouring from an empty cup.

Sometimes putting yourself first isn’t selfish.
It’s taking a breath.
Getting dressed.
Going for a walk.
Having a quiet coffee.
Doing whatever brings a little piece of you back.

Because your children don’t need a mother who has nothing left to give.

They need you — alive, happy, loved, and full enough to love them back.

You don’t have to choose between being a good mother and being yourself.

You’re allowed to be both. 🤍

Just because. 🖤🤍

I spent years straightening my naturally wavy hair…
until I had three kids.

My hair is naturally wavy, but for years I straightened it.
It took so much time to wash, dry, straighten, and style it.
But now I have three kids, and honestly… I don’t have that kind of time anymore.
So instead of fighting my natural texture, I found a different way.
A 5-minute routine — and this is my hair now. 🤍

I don’t need a perfect life. I want mine.

Every part of it. The beautiful, the messy, the unexpected.

I wouldn’t change a thing. I’m grateful for the life I’ve built, for everything I’ve learned, and for the woman it’s made me.

This is my life. And I’m happy it’s mine.

I’ve reached the age where I simply don’t care if something is “in” if I can’t actually live in it.

I want clothes that look good, feel good and let me move.

Give me jeans, a good shirt, ballet flats and a great bag and I’m happy.

I’ll leave the uncomfortable trends to someone else.

What’s one fashion rule you’ve completely stopped following?
