We were honored to welcome a group of students today from Meade County High School for a behind the scenes tour of our new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility!

At C & S, we believe in investing in the next generation. During their visit, students had the opportunity to experience firsthand how advanced technology, precision CNC machining, engineering, and teamwork come together to manufacture high-quality, precision engineered components used across a variety of industries.

A huge thank you to the students who spent time with us! We were truly honored to open our doors, share our passion for manufacturing, and hopefully inspire a few future machinists, engineers, and industry leaders along the way!

We've spent 57 years (and counting) figuring out how to make things better. Apparently, it also takes over 250 semi loads to move everything we've accumulated along the way.

The new place gives us more square footage, plenty of room to grow (12.2 acres to be exact), 4000 amps of 480V power - and after all this time, we've finally decided having a climate-controlled facility was also worth a try.

A huge thanks to our team and supplier partners for pulling off what can only be described as a fairly ambitious change of address. We owe another thanks to Louisville Business First for taking the time to share a bit of our story. We're proud of what we're building and even more excited about what's ahead!

The 70-employee manufacturer spent decades in a 56,000-square-foot facility without air conditioning. The new building accommodates future expansion to 150,000 square feet.

We’re looking for an experienced Machinist who can take a part from program to finished product. CNC programming, setups, tight tolerances, troubleshooting, and some of the best equipment in the industry.

Our team spent this past Saturday enjoying the evening together at Lynn Family Stadium, cheering on LouCity FC in their International Friendly soccer game against Trinidad and Tobago.

Despite a little pregame drizzle, the skies cleared just in time for kickoff, leaving us with a perfect summer evening. Having the opportunity to spend time together outside of work is something we truly value, and it was great to see such an incredible turnout from our team and their families.

To top it all off, LouCity came away with the win! ⚽🙌

A huge thank you to LouCity FC and Lynn Family Stadium for being such fantastic hosts. From the catered food to the incredible views right next to the field, everything this an unforgettable evening.

Our crew spent this past Saturday walking the annual Oldham County Day Parade, a tradition that has lived within the community for decades. A huge thank you to everyone who waved, cheered, high fived, and stopped to talk with us along the route. We get to manufacture some pretty incredible things inside our walls, but getting out into the community that has welcomed us with open arms this past year was a highlight of our summer.

To our surprise, our parade float - featuring a giant suppressor fit for a tank, a buffer tube for a r***e, and a Fanuc robot - managed to bring home 2nd Place in the parade float contest! Most times, we aren't big on being 2nd best in anything, but we graciously accept the recognition. Rest assured, we will be chasing that 1st Place award next year. 😎

We would also like to thank the 105° heat index for reminding us what it feels like to be a piece of stainless steel bar in a heat treat oven. Thanks again, Oldham County. Our team had an absolute blast!
