Allen Automatic Transmission was founded in La Crosse, Wisconsin in 1980 by Brad Benrud. The business primarily started out as a wholesale transmission rebuilding facility, serving a customer base of Independent Auto Repair shops, GM and Ford Dealerships, Ambulance fleets, Township and City fleets, as well as individual vehicle owners. Benrud became well known with professional automotive shop owners and managers as the leading authority in the Tri State Area for Transmission trouble shooting and problem solving solutions. In September 2007, the facility expanded into a highly visible Retail area, in order to better serve the individual vehicle owner with a more complete, personalized service. With the addition of many key staff technicians, we are now able to do complete automotive repairs, also specializing in differentials, manual transmissions, and engine repairs. Our newest equipment additions will allow us to reprogram vehicle computer systems as well, to correct electronic engine, transmission, and various vehicle controls. Why we are special:
