TEST LAB Night Shift Operator

Stein Seal is seeking a Night Shift Operator to monitor the overnight testing of our state of the art mechanical seals as described by the test plan. And, to assist in cleanup and maintenance as directed by the Lab Manager.

Night shift hours are typically 8:00 or 10:00 pm until 6:30 am.

Responsibilities:
• Operation of test rig during test including any adjustments needed to attain test plan conditions.
• Collection of required data during test.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: 1 Year of experience as a machine operator or mechanic.

Skills:
• Basic PC computer skills required.
• Dependable, Organized, detail-oriented, able to work with minimal supervision once the task has been explained.

Non-Destructive Test Technician Wanted

We are looking to hire a certified non-destructive test technician to perform liquid penetrant and magnetic particle testing on our metallic components. Applicants should be certified to Level 2 or level 3 for aerospace applications and have a background in this type of testing.
The position is at our Telford, PA facility, which is fully air-conditioned and close to Rt. 309. An ideal candidate would be able to work independently and be able to handle multiple different parts in the course of a week. Most parts are light weight, which is typical in an aerospace environment.
This is a full-time position with the potential for overtime as well. Benefits include medical and dental insurance and a matching 401K.

Production Planner -
Growing Aerospace Company is seeking a Production Planner to manage a critical product line.
Job Description:
Convert customer demand into to an inventory/manufacturing plan to support on time delivery of products. Monitor and adjust need dates of WIP and purchased product. Issue Shop Orders for in house manufacturing, requisitions to purchasing for outside purchased product and materials. Balance inventory levels and maintain safety stock levels per policy and contractual agreements.
Applicant must be able to effectively communicate and Interface with customer daily. Ability to track and provide periodic milestones of projects status to customers. Problem solving, and computer skills are a must. Applicant should have at least an associates degree in business or equivalent education, 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, ability to read blueprints and manufacturing instructions.

Stein Seal Company is a growing manufacturing company that services not only the commercial and government aerospace industries, but also the nuclear and power generation industries. Stein Seal is seeking a dedicated individual to assist the Competitive Excellence Engineering team.
Responsibilities:
· Key Contributor in deployment and sustainment of plant wide 5S Visual Workplace Program
· Key Contributor in deployment and sustainment of plant wide TPM Program
· Support lean initiatives in all facets of the company to improve quality and reduce waste
· Analyze historical Shop Floor Data to generate Time Standards that will be used by all.
Production Planning
· Analyze Customer Demand to complete Capacity Analysis’
· Develop and maintain PPAPs for Customers
Key Attributes:
· Effective written and verbal communication skills
· Advanced MS computing skills including: Excel (spreadsheet, pivot table, graphing), Word, and PowerPoint
· Team-oriented; must be able to work with other Departments
· Detail oriented
· Agile and flexible enough to shift priorities or between tasks without losing momentum
Education and Experience:
2 years administrative experience compiling and analyzing data using Microsoft excel- · -Preferred: 2 years of experience in Continuous Improvement/Competitive Excellence in a Manufacturing setting.
· Preferred: Lean/Six-Sigma Accreditation: Basics of Lean Manufacturing/Green Belt
