We just picked up our brand new Liebherr LTM 1040-2.1  from the port of Savannah. This is one contact crane.

A mobile crane operator is primarily responsible for operating a traveling crane, which lifts, moves, positions, and repositions loads. This person may travel to various job sites within the same job site.
Primary responsibilities
• Drive truck to worksite and determine best/safest setup to complete job
• Place blocks and outriggers to prevent tipping when lifting heavy load
• Operate crane safely
• Manipulate or depress cane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement per instructions
• Move levers and pedals to rotate crane on chassis to raise and lower crane boom and to raise and lower load-line
• Lift, position and place machinery, equipment or other large objects at construction sites
• Listen to customers’ needs/wants and determine best way to complete job
• Inspect crane for safety issues daily
• Determine if any parts are malfunctioning
• Clean and Maintenance crane as needed
• Complete job tickets and all other necessary paperwork
• Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have valid CDL, with airbrake endorsement
• Must have CCO certification to run hydraulic boom tuck crane
• Must have up-to-date medical card
• Must have clean driving record
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to work within a team environment
• 12 months’ previous crane operating experience
• Must be able to work flexible hours/days of the week
• Must be able to setup and breakdown truck and crane independently
• Must be able to pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen
• Must be able to provide references upon request
• We do not have standard operating hours; team members are expected to complete jobs assigned daily
Preferred but not required:
• Bilingual – Spanish speaking a plus;
• Building and construction knowledge/experience;
Paid weekly on crane hours billed. MUST REPORT TO THE MARYVILLE, TN SHOP DAILY. (no travel expenses will be paid). EOE.
