Auto body parts distributor based in Knoxville, TN seeks experienced delivery driver (non-CDL) to help build sales/customer base in collision repair shops in Knoxville and surrounding areas. Our ideal candidate is someone who can work independently, is responsible and has great customer service skills.
This position requires the inspection of parts for damages, completion of delivery paperwork to include invoices, credit memos for returned parts and various logs for vehicle inspection and maintenance. In addition, we are looking for someone who takes ownership of their route and works with a sense of urgency to meet or exceed customer expectations accordingly.

Job Overview: Warehouse Assistant facilitates the receipt, storage and distribution of parts within the warehouse and to the customer. This includes, but is not limited to the picking and inspection of parts, receipt, storage, and distribution of all materials, and maintaining the fulfillment / warehouse area. Also, responsible for pick up and delivery of parts (as required) and the coordination of driver activities in support of the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Performs warehouse activities associated with the receipt, storage and distribution of automotive after market collision parts. Includes receiving and putting away stock in its proper location and picking items. Performs duties to accurately depict stock status with a minimum of 98% accuracy.
• Facilitates fulfillment to include inspection and loading of parts for delivery, preparing and verifying credit memos, PO lists, and dispatching documents. Assists with processing returns and putting stock back on shelves.
• Assist with driver operations to include inspecting and loading parts for delivery, driver qualifications, vehicle maintenance and safety. Includes coordinating routes and resolving issues for the driver on route deliveries.
• Delivers or picks up parts as required.
• Conducts location checks and performs reconciliation for stock items.
• Assists with maintaining warehouse by cleaning and organizing work areas.
• All additional duties as assigned. This will include assisting with the handling of plastic bumpers and compacting them into bales for recycling.

Qualifications:
• Education level – HS Diploma. Associates (preferred).
• Experience – Warehouse (1 Year) Shipping and Receiving (1 Year) Forklift certification a plus

• Specific skills – Knowledgeable in use of inventory software.
• Personal characteristics – High Integrity (Trustworthiness), Well Organized, Performs tasks with a Sense of Urgency.
• Certifications – Forklift Certified (preferred).
• Licenses – F Endorsement (preferred).
