Hodge Engineering Co has some news to celebrate! 🎉

Submitted by KBS Inc., an Award of Merit was served to Service Center Metals for their newly completed aluminum processing facility in Prince George, Virginia.

Hodge served as the lead Structural and MEP engineering firm for the 300,000 sq ft facility. Built on a 70-acre site, the three-building aluminum remelt and extrusion complex processes 24-ft-long billets ranging in diameter from 7 to 18 in.

Hodge Engineering, in partnership with Trane Technologies has provided Troy University's Wallace Hall with cost saving design services!

After performing an Investment Grade Audit (IGA) on Wallace Hall, the Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) developed yield a total annual savings of $192,412, representing a 45.4% reduction in utility costs!

Once implemented, occupant comfort will be improved, indoor humidity levels will be reduced, and building maintenance costs will be reduced 🌍💰🎉
