NOW HIRING: Metal Fabrication Shop Apprentice
Palmetto Project Solutions is seeking a motivated and reliable fab shop apprentice to join our team!
This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn the metal fabrication trade, hands-on, working alongside experienced fabricators in a fast paced-shop environment.
Job Responsibilities:
· Assist with cutting, grinding, welding, and assembling metal components
· Learn to read and interpret basic blueprints and drawings
· Operate shop equipment - saws, drills, presses, grinders
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
· Support senior fabricators with daily production tasks
· Measure, mark, and prepare material accurately
· Basic grounds/shop cleaning and maintenance
Qualifications:
· Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools
· Basic math and measurement skills
· Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
· Ability to follow instruction and work well as a team
· Prior shop experience is a plus, but not a requirement
This is a full-time position and starting pay will depend on applicant's experience and skill.
