This was a fun project! Dillon (customer) brought me a bunch of post oak logs from his families ranch with the mission to use them for flooring in his new house. It was a process; we took some risks and pushed the limits on kiln drying. The did an amazing job with what we asked of it. The end result speaks for itself.

Custom milling for 3/4x7s and 3/4x4s.

Talk about some clean 2x8x16s. As good as it gets! We are firing on all cylinders and orders are backing up. Get your spring project rolling.

Milling Giant 10” boards out of eastern red cedar. I’d say less than 10% of the logs we bring in the yard will make these boards and make them clean. We will take the difficult orders!

Milling these little eastern red cedar logs can be tedious sometimes. Here I had to flip this log several times to keep trimming waning (bark) off the sides to make clean boards, trim too much off one side and then log won’t work for what you want.
