Although the post haven't been busy we at Southern belles beekeeping have. Here was the last removal done with another happy customer. I was great not only to help out a neighbor but help him set up an Apiary of his own.

Got some work done getting ready to add a third deep on each hive! Our Southern Belles have been busy!

Getting the growth, in one apiary all singles are now double deep with a super. In our second apiary, we did 7 splits and 2 requeening. Almost at our yearly growth goal! Side note some new equipment is coming in and excited to brand all of our boxes! Pictures soon!!

With all the rain I was worried our sweet Southern Belles were going with out, started feeding them last week after installing the new top feeders, made by Jim Austin! Lots of great benefits to having them. But I think my worries are gone they are bringing in the pollen and working the sweet wild nectar!

We had some bovine beauties vist us while we started work on the new apiary. Hopefully they don't mind the bees buzzing ...

We had some bovine beauties vist us while we started work on the new apiary. Hopefully they don't mind the bees buzzing around in the flowers as they graze. Owners Chase and Cody put in some serious work today! More photos to come!!
