These are the moments I will treasure forever. For years and years, I prayed for all four of my children, and God answered my prayers and gave them to me in such beautiful, miraculous ways. I hope they always remember their sunrise walks to the sea with their mama.
Psalm 93:3–4
“The seas have lifted up, Lord, the seas have lifted up their voice; the seas have lifted up their pounding waves.
Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea—the Lord on high is mighty.”
I can't help but stand in awe of the heavens and the sea and my children that God has created when I snuggle them close as the sun peeks over the horizon.
Psalms 8:3-9
"When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, All sheep and oxen— Even the beasts of the field, The birds of the air, And the fish of the sea That pass through the paths of the seas. O LORD, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth!"
I am nothing but a tiny speck of dust in the vastness of this incredible universe that God has made, but I feel so unbelievably blessed to be able to witness a sunrise with my babies. Thank you, Lord, for these amazing gifts! May I never, ever take them for granted.
