In late September our department completed a hands on demo of the Hen Nozzle. After evaluating its flow characteristics, stream quality, and handling under pressure, we unanimously chose to add them to our primary Engine's attack lines.

The Hen Nozzle reduces nozzle reaction and firefighter fatigue while delivering more efficient fire suppression. This is a proven combination for safer and more effective interior operations.

We’re proud to be placing them into service.

It may be one of the most basic things we as firefighters use, but a good pair of gloves can make all the difference. I have used a lot of different gloves throughout my career and I have yet to find another pair that fit comfortably and hold up like the Vanguard gloves do.
