A craftsman is someone who cares more about the work than the credit.
It takes:
1. Respect for the material - learn what it wants to do.
2. Willing repetition - do it 100 times after it's "good enough."
3. A private standard - not "will they accept it?" but "will I accept it?"
4. Time - no shortcuts. The work teaches slowly.
5. Humility - let the work correct you.
Pick one thing and do it like you'd have to sign your name on it. Do that long enough, and you're a craftsman.
