Our employees are expected to be dedicated to the business and the customer creating an all-inclusive experience. The technician is responsible for the diagnosis, repair, reconditioning, overhaul and maintenance of customer and company heavy equipment, trucks, and trailers. Depending on location and duty assignment, will also be responsible for some or all of the functions and duties listed below.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
Prepares accurate and complete service reports and turns them in upon completion of assigned job.
Prepares inspections and reports.
Prepares part requests and submits in a timely fashion.
Communicates effectively with service manager to ensure problems, nature of repair, and status of repairs are understood and followed up on.
Cleans, repairs, reconditions, and maintains equipment and components.
Prepares, inspects, and operates machines prior to delivery.
Removes, disassembles, assembles, and installs components and parts.
Orders replacement parts ensuring that parts orders are correct and complete at the time of order.
Services and maintains equipment sold and/or owned by the company.
Tests measures, and adjusts engine and machine systems and components.
Diagnoses and troubleshoots machine and engine malfunctions and failures.
Analyzes customer repair and maintenance requirements.
Keeps up to date with developments in tooling, technologies and systems.
Uses safe working practices and follows all company safety requirements.
Maintains a clean and organized work area.
Performs maintenance activities on new and rebuilt/repaired equipment.
General welding and metal fabrication.

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Education/ Job Experience: Diesel/ auto mechanic, metal fabrication and welding, hydraulic systems, transmissions, drive trains. Field service. Mobile mechanic.
Prefer CDL-B or A (Willing to assist for the right candidate)
Prefer MSHA (Willing to assist for the right candidate)
Computer Skills: Basic ability to search for and enter data into a computer. Ability to type service reports.
Other duties as assigned by Manager

It is safe to assume we are going to be leaving apps open as a new standard as we are rapidly growing and cannot bring qualified personnel in fast enough! We are currently running 21 trucks and adding another 8 in the spring. We are shooting for 100 Peterbilt/Kenworth heavy chassis service trucks on the road by 2028! When we say "Lots of room" for growth, expansion, and promotions, we mean it!

We are in need of 4 more techs IMMEDIATELY. And needing to get other qualified candidates on a list for another 8 trucks coming in around March/April 2024.

Most of our techs work a "Hitch" schedule and travel frequently. We are working in the following states and either need dedicated guys onsite for 7 day a week coverage, or general float coverage guys to cover a territory.

We are also projecting bringing on an additional 6-8 techs in the first quarter of 2024 to kick off some new contracts.
