PROJECT SPOTLIGHT: LONE MOUNTAIN

One tank, 24 homes, and one very unexpected jobsite visitor.

For the Lone Mountain project at the One&Only resort in Big Sky, Montana, LPG Ventures manufactured and delivered a 24,000-gallon underground propane vessel, then installed the v***rizer, pump, valves, and supporting equipment to help supply propane v***r to 24 homes.

The goal? One centralized storage system instead of individual propane tanks spread throughout the property.

And apparently, we weren't the only ones checking out the jobsite. A local black bear stopped by to investigate the dumpster. We're still not sure what it was looking for, but we're pretty sure it wasn't looking for propane equipment.

Fall is a good time to take another look at your system.

As temperatures start to drop, changes in weather and operating conditions can bring attention to issues that may have gone unnoticed during the warmer months.

Take a few minutes to look over your equipment and watch for changes in system pressure, leaks, worn valves or fittings, and anything that isn't operating quite like it should.

A system that's running today isn't necessarily a system that should be left unchecked.

If something doesn't look right, it's better to take a closer look now than wait for a small issue to become a bigger one.

$26–$34/HR + 10 GUARANTEED OVERTIME HOURS EVERY WEEK

LPG Ventures is looking for an experienced Blaster / Painter to join our fabrication team in Kearney, Missouri.

We’re looking for someone who already knows the work. Previous abrasive blasting AND industrial/commercial painting experience are required.

If you have the experience, show up ready to work, and work well with a team, we want to talk to you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Abrasive blast pressure vessels, skids, and components
• Apply primers and finish coatings to job specifications
• Maintain blasting and painting equipment
• Follow coating requirements and shop safety procedures

SCHEDULE & PAY:
• $26–$34/hour based on experience
• Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
• 10 GUARANTEED overtime hours every week
• Full-time, year-round work

When Bunkers Feed & Supply needed to expand their anhydrous ammonia storage capabilities, LPG Ventures delivered a complete bulk plant installation designed to serve their operation for years to come.

Located in Iowa, this project included two 30,000-gallon NH₃ storage tanks, dual 3-inch Corken liquid pumps, complete piping, emergency shutoff systems, controls, platforms, and all of the equipment needed to bring the facility online. With the exception of excavation and crane services, our team handled every phase of the installation from start to finish.

For agricultural suppliers, reliability isn't optional. Having a well-designed system means getting product where it needs to go safely and efficiently when customers need it most.

When a school district in Idaho needed to move an existing propane system to a brand-new campus, replacing everything wasn't the answer. Relocating and upgrading it was.

Our team recently completed a project for the Salmon School District, moving a customer-owned 30,000-gallon propane tank approximately one mile from the old school to the new facility.

Along with relocating the tank, we installed new concrete piers, upgraded the system with new Fisher valves, gauges, actuators, and relief valves, and completed the piping and equipment installation needed to support the new campus.

The system was also designed with redundancy in mind, helping ensure dependable operation for years to come.

Every project has its own challenges, and this one was a great reminder that the best solution isn't always starting from scratch. Sometimes it's taking a proven asset and giving it a new purpose.
