A leading fluid power distribution company is in search of an inside sales representative to join our team. K.R. West Company is a distributor of hydraulic and pneumatic components.

The primary responsibilities of this position will include:

Create quotes and orders, monitor open orders and other open items

Confirm order and verify customer order status as required

Process orders for onsite installations, start-up and service

Provide customers with return goods authorization and process return

Issue debit/credit as required

Source special / non-stock / rush parts

Provide technical assistance to customers and co-workers

Answer telephone and direct calls

Manage open vendor purchase orders

Expedite orders as required

Report on any discrepancies on purchase orders and resolve with vendors

Take corrective action as necessary on discrepancies

Enter and verify vendor order acknowledgements

Product and quality awareness

Match packing list with purchase order/report discrepancies

Enter daily pack list into database



Qualifications

Inside sales, or similar experience required

Sales experience in fluid systems is preferred

Education: Two- or three-year Technical Diploma or Degree or equivalent job-related training

Fluid Power certification or technical training is a plus

A leading fluid power distribution company is in search of a fluid power / mechanical designer to join our team. K.R. West Company is a distributor of hydraulic and pneumatic components. K.R. West also designs and builds custom hydraulic power units and valve panels along with repair systems and components.

The primary responsibilities of this position will include circuit design to meet the needs of the customer, creation of 3D CAD models, 2D layouts and bill of materials, estimating, trouble shooting, field service, assembly, electrical, mechanical design and other similar tasks.

Qualifications
1. Application and design experience with fluid systems is preferred
2. Electrical and mechanical ability
3. Education: Two or three year Technical Diploma or Degree or equivalent job-related training
4. Fluid Power certification is a plus

The account representative will be responsible for driving sales growth in Northeast Wisconsin.

The primary responsibilities of this position will include:
1. Act as the primary customer-facing representative for their territory
2. Identify and manage opportunities and prospects as well as current customers
3. Promote full product offering and value-added services
4. Identify customer needs and work with fluid power designer and inside sales to meet these needs
5. Create quotes and estimates, follow-up on orders and other open items
6. Work with technicians and contracts to coordinate required services for customers
7. Travel as required within Wisconsin and Upper Michigan
