With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Gerald "Jerry" Griesbach, the retired founder of G&G Machine. Jerry was more than just a leader; he was a beloved mentor and father figure to many, and a beacon of dedication and ingenuity in our industry. His vision and hard work laid the foundation for the success of our shop, and his legacy will continue to inspire us.

To his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him, we mourn with you. Jerry touched countless lives with his kindness, wisdom, and quick wit. We will forever cherish the memories and the invaluable lessons he imparted.

G&G Machine Inc. is looking for an efficient, diligent, and dedicated Shipping and Delivery Coordinator to join our team. The individual will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of our products to customers and vendors.

👩‍💼 Role and Responsibilities:

📦 Packaging and Preservation: You'll pack items safely, build custom boxes for irregularly shaped parts, and apply rust preventative measures as required.

📑 Document Control: Collect all necessary documents for shipment like BOL, CoC, Inspection Documents, Purchase Order, etc.

🔎 Inventory and Supply Control: Pick parts per job specs and keep the shop supplied as needed.

🚚Equipment Maintenance and Management: Maintain the delivery fleet and use forklifts and overhead cranes safely.

🚛 Shipping and Delivery: Manage the delivery schedule, schedule shipments with trucking companies, deliver and pick up from vendors, and document all parts and packages.

🔍 Inspection: Perform basic inspections and cycle counts prior to preparing parts for shipment.

♻️ 5S/Lean Principles: Keep your work area clean, neat, and up to company standards. Be proactive in seeking process improvements.

📥 Receiving: Handle incoming deliveries and help with other receiving tasks when required.

🎓 Qualifications and Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, ERP system)
Basic mathematical skills for calculating dimensions
Ability to use inspection tools for part verification (training provided as needed)
Prior material handling, shipping, and receiving experience
Valid Wisconsin driver’s license and clean driving record

G&G Machine is now hiring a Youth Apprenticeship position for the high school student interested in a career in CNC Machining.

Who: Any student eligible for the Co-Op or Youth Apprenticeship program at their high school in the 2021-22 school year. An ideal applicant would have a mechanical aptitude and interest in building, creating and solving problems by using their hands and critical thinking skills.

What: The first step to a lucrative career in the CNC Machining trade. We train motivated young individuals to become well-rounded Machinists capable of programming, setup and machining of highly technical parts in a job shop environment.

Where: We are located in the Kaukauna Industrial Park just north of Highway 41 in Kaukauna, WI

When: We are hiring for the position to begin in June (or sooner) and continue throughout the summer on a full-time basis. Typical summer hours are Monday through Friday, 7AM - 5PM. When school begins in fall, we would work with you to determine suitable hours for you through your local high school co-op program.

Why: In addition to competitive starting wages, you could be eligible for tuition reimbursement through a technical degree program following high school graduation. You would be entering a trade with a gap in the workforce leading to future earning opportunities that exceed $30/hour!

Job Description
G&G Machine is a contract manufacturer based in Kaukauna, WI serving local and nationally recognized companies in the oil and gas, transportation, heavy machinery and food processing industries. G&G Machine is looking for a motivated individual to fill a shared position that includes welding, general labor and facility maintenance. The candidate could be an experienced welder or someone looking to get into the trade. Potential for the opportunity to transition to machining, if desired. We offer flexible work hours, overtime opportunities, competitive wages, health care and retirement benefits, a lucrative bonus structure, the opportunity for profit sharing and much more.

Responsibilities:
- Lay out, position, align and fit components together using applicable tools and welding equipment
- Bolt, clamp and tack-weld parts to secure them in position for final welding.
- Have sufficient knowledge of geometry, structural design, heat effects and allowances for thickness of metal to project location of holes, cuts and bends from blueprints, written and typed specifications.
- MIG and TIG weld various materials
- Deburring and other finishing work to machined parts
- Facility maintenance as needed
- Potential certification in forms of non-destructive testing
- Assist in other duties around the shop as needed

Requirements:
