Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Big Sky Metals.

2025 was a record year for us. We processed over 200,000 lbs of material and ran the biggest crew we’ve ever had. From the OGs who’ve been here since the start, to the new guys who came in ready to help and get the job done. That’s the mix it took to make everything this year even possible!

The projects this year were the kind you look back on and go… how’d we even pull that off. We built not just 1… but 2.. 36’ tall Christmas trees for the Galleria Mall. We built a record-breaking Longhorn bull for Triple N Winery that was displayed at the Texas State Fair. We built custom display racks for Lane Boots that ended up at NFR in Las Vegas. And we even knocked out a cabana in Uptown Dallas that felt like it was designed for a kingdom.
And just when you think it stops there… We had work leaving the shop and heading all over. We sent signs up to New York City for a WNBA event, to Florida, Colorado and even custom parts to…. Europe!!!!! We also stayed busy building displays and product pieces for brands like Neiman Marcus and Mizzen+Main. So much happened this year it’s crazy!!

We learned lessons the hard way. We bled. We got tired. We push our timelines. But we didn’t quit and we got it done! Ans let me tell you, we turned out some pieces I’m damn proud to put our name on!

All of this so we could invest in Big Sky’s future. We brought in a 2,000 watt laser welder that’s going to change the game for what we can build in 2026. We also upgraded our trailers and install equipment so we can keep showing up better, faster, and more prepared for every job.

To every customer, friend, and supporter, THANK YOU!! We couldn’t do this without each and every one of you.

From a larger than life Longhorn sculpture. To a set of almost 40’ Christmas trees for the Galleria Mall, it’s never a dull moment of creativity around here!!!

Yep!! It’s that time of year again. Been heavy at it with all of our night work getting all the holiday stuff ready!
This is a beautiful 4 artist collaboration working 2 nights with a total of a 10 man crew to be able to accomplish all aspects of this build.
It was another project that took our current skills and applied them to a whole other area. It brought on challenges, scheduling issues and even moments where we thought we wouldn’t pull it off in our installation time frame… BUT, you already know how we do it… WE figure it out!! And just like that, we have some of the most magical Christmas decor put up in all of DFW!!!
