A leading amusement customer operating a multi-vehicle ride needed a more accurate and reliable way to track ride vehicle positions. Because traditional encoders and proximity switches can lose accuracy due to wheel slippage, these systems can be less effective in applications where precise positioning is critical. Additionally, these systems also require additional time to re-establish vehicle positions following a power interruption — delaying the time before operations can be back up and running.
