If you've ever lived on a farm, you'll know that things going wrong on a daily basis is just the way it is: something is frozen, someone is stuck, something is broken, something is dying, something is dead (animal or machinery) or something, somewhere is just f*&ked. At least that is how on this farm. So, to the point. I got another 3 tons of lovely, firm, utterly delicious Keuka Gold Alaska Grown potatoes to feed to my cows tonight. Wouldn't you know it, my hammer mill, which I use to grind them so they don't choke, flew into a million pieces on the first load. It will take weeks to get the parts. Besides, in just 15 days my cows will be heading to this cow paradise- including my 79 heifers which arrived in Alaska just a few minutes ago. So let's have one more potato day. $15 per 50 lbs. 35250 Reger Road Soldotna. Saturday May 18 at noon.
