Hear a Strange Noise Under the Hood? Don't Ignore It!

Your engine can give you warning signs before a small problem turns into a major repair. Knowing what to listen for can help you catch issues early!

🔧 Knocking or Pinging: Could indicate a combustion issue or an internal engine problem.

🎶 Squealing: May point to a worn or slipping belt or a pulley issue.

🔩 Rattling: Could be caused by loose components, exhaust parts, or an engine-related concern.

💨 Hissing: May indicate a vacuum leak, escaping air, or a fluid leak contacting a hot component.

🚨 Grinding or Loud Metallic Noises: Can signal a serious problem that needs immediate attention.

Every noise has a different possible cause, so it's important not to guess or ignore it. If a noise is sudden, severe, or accompanied by a warning light, loss of power, overheating, or low oil pressure, pull over safely and shut off the engine when appropriate.

🛠️ When your vehicle sounds different, let our team take a look before the problem gets worse!

🍂🚗 Planning a Fall Road Trip? Give Your Vehicle a Quick Check First!

Fall is a great time to hit the road, but changing temperatures and weather can put extra demands on your vehicle.

Before a longer drive, take a few minutes to check:

🛞 Tires – Check pressure, tread, and overall condition.
🔋 Battery – Cooler temperatures can be harder on an aging battery.
💡 Lights – With shorter days, working headlights and brake lights are especially important.
🧹 Wipers – Make sure they can handle rain and keep your windshield clear.
🔥 Heater & Defroster – Make sure both are working before colder mornings arrive.

A little preparation can help make your fall drives safer and more enjoyable!

🍂🌧️ Visibility Matters Even More During Fall & Winter Driving

Shorter days, rain, fog, frost, and winter weather can all make it harder to see and harder for other drivers to see you.

Before heading out, make sure your:

💡 Headlights and brake lights are working
🧹 Wiper blades are clearing the windshield properly
🪟 Windshield is clean and free of cracks or damage
❄️ Defroster is working properly
🔦 Headlights are aimed and bright enough for the road ahead

Good visibility gives you more time to react when road and weather conditions change.

Stay safe and keep your eyes on the road this season!

Can Your Windshield Wipers Keep Up?

Worn-out wiper blades can leave streaks, skip across the windshield, or make it difficult to see when you need them most.

If your wipers are:
❌ Leaving streaks
❌ Chattering or squeaking
❌ Skipping across the glass
❌ Cracking or splitting

…it may be time for a new set!

A clear windshield means better visibility when rain and bad weather hit. 🚗💨
