Kalida Truck Equipment, Inc. Ohio’s Most Diversified Truck Equipment Distributor since 1975. Kalida Truck Equipment, Inc. was founded by Jim Burgei in 1975. of Toledo.

The company started with a 3000 square foot building on 1 ½ acres west of Kalida on US224. In October of 1984 Kalida Truck Equipment, Inc. purchased a competitor, Middlekauff Inc. After six years at its downtown location, 10 acres were purchased in Walbridge just south of Toledo. In August of 1990 the move to the new facility was completed. Joe Recker, Greg Recker and Ken Kahle purchased Kalida Tr

uck Equipment, Inc. from Jim Burgei in July of 2001. Their vision and mission for the company was to build the best quality trucks in the industry. The new ownership group also greatly diversified the products and services of the company. Kalida Truck Equipment Inc. that once relied on snow and ice now has a much broader portfolio. In 2015 the company celebrated 40 years in business. With a focus on quality and customer service Kalida Truck Equipment, Inc. has grown to 40 employees strong. Our 2 locations sit on a combined 20 acres with 16 work bays and an automated down draft paint booth. We have over 32,000 square feet of working space and we are just getting started.
