Living Finish: A Living Finish is a process for treating metal to give it an aged patinaed appearance. The treatments will protect the metal while still allowing the patina to develop or change over time. A living finish can be applied to Mild Steel, Copper, Brass, Bronze, and Nickle.

We recently created this custom kitchen cabinet / hood combination. The body of the cabinet is constructed out of aluminum and powder coated Black. The cabinet doors and center panel are made from mild steel with satin black living finish and push to latch hardware.

The black living finish looks great next to the custom walnut cabinets!

HARDOX 450

Today we formed up bed sides for a Dump trailer from HARDOX 450.
Hardox 450 is extremely durable material with solid reputation as a highly versatile, abrasion-resistant steel that also has structural properties. With an extra 50 HBW hardness over AR 400 grades, it provides additional wear resistance for an extended service life with similar toughness as an AR 400 steel. This allows for more high-performing buckets, dump bodies and other equipment that lasts longer and still can take impact forces without compromising structural integrity.
