Kake Tribal Fuel – Temporary Fuel Service Update

We’re currently experiencing a wiring issue with our Ruby fuel system, which has temporarily shut down the fuel pumps. We’re working to get them back up and running as soon as possible.

In the meantime, we’re working to provide fuel service from the fuel truck, hopefully later today or tomorrow.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate the community’s patience and understanding. We’ll provide another update when fuel truck service is available.

Kake Tribal Fuel Corporation Community Update:

We understand the frustration our community is feeling with the cost of fuel and groceries. We want to acknowledge that while our recent price adjustment only resulted in a small decrease, we are continuing to work toward getting the best prices possible for our community and shareholders.

We also recognize that prices remain high nationwide, and here in Kake, the cost of getting essential goods to our community can be even more challenging.

On a positive note, our management team has been working to help fill some of those gaps. With the recent barge shipment not bringing in eggs and milk for the community, management took steps to get eggs and milk brought in and available for our community.

Our commitment remains the same: to serve our community, support our shareholders, and continue looking for every opportunity to provide the best prices and access to essential goods that we can.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we navigate these challenges together. We hear you, we understand the concerns, and we will continue doing our part for Kake. ❤️
