Bidding this 10 horizontal pipe handrail modification. It doesn’t meet the requirements. Need to splice in about 9” on every run of this railing. It’s going to be an absolute pile of grinding and blending. But it’s an interesting one. Figured I would show some of the strange things we bid. This caterpillar 🐛 is cool though!

Here is some decorative and handrails we have been working on. These are off to powder coating. We have a few more sections to build then I will some installed pics and videos. 🤘🏻

Gouging with and repairing cracks on a small but thick bucket. We love that we do lots of different work daily. Yesterday was a structural job in a home, today heavy bucket work, and last week or so was a decorative railing package for a home.

This skill set and versatility is a huge up side. But, it’s also a huge downside in taking on a bunch of different work verses niching down and making the business repeatable. I think it actually holds us back from growth. Not many guys can hop from a Sportfishing’s tower, to a dozer frame or a substation.

This is a blessing and a curse! Any other welding companies have these thoughts?

Getting Ohana Cruises all tightened up on the front corners that spend all that time in the sand. We did some build up so they have lots of material to last long term. They get to focus on what they do best showing people how to enjoy beautiful Jupiter, Fl! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

Lower unit repairs. We unfortunately didn’t take any before pictures but these we both broken and bent badly. Broken off sections are easy to replace and blend. The bends are where the challenge comes in to get them straight. But more happy customers back to fishing.

Here’s one I can’t say I have ever done before. This is a mixer in pharmaceutical lab. And a few other misc stainless repairs while on site. This mixer broke and we were able to get it repaired within a few hours of it going down. Getting them back up and running lickidity split! We also welded the other door to prevent another future failure point. We used the miller max star for these repairs.

Here’s a gate rebuild the customer didn’t think was possible. They wanted us just to make it function while we could fabricate a completely new panel. I let them know we could have this one rebuilt and rehung in 3 days. They were astatic. Saved them over 7000$ and lots of hassle.

Bobcat hit the gate so we fixed it up. We fix A LOT of gates and hinges.

Some repair work on transmission line poles up in Newberry, Fl this week. Had to get a few issues fixed up keep the crews moving. We bent that plate back in position using a 30 ton jack we keep on the truck and some strategically placed heat. After a few attempts got it back within specifications recoated with zrc Galv coating. Ready for install. This little Bambi was cute and didn’t care at all how close we got.
