Happy Wednesday!
As you may have guessed, last night’s power outage messed up more than just power!
Telephone and internet lines were also disrupted, and B&I unfortunately wasn’t an exception.
For now we have no phones or internet, but we are open our regular hours, so please come see us, we’d be happy to help! 😊

P.S. Facebook is really bad about letting us know if you message the page, so please don’t rely on that to get through right now if you have an urgent question.
We would be heartbroken to let you down if you have a question that really needs an answer!

❄️ Confidence is increasing for several inches of accumulating snow with travel impacts somewhere in the lowlands Wed. Night into Thu. Morning (Feb. 18-19) with a potential narrow band of snow, but confidence is low regarding where this narrow band will set up, if at all. There are several different potential outcomes regarding where this potential low will track, which makes all the difference when it comes to who gets snow and who does not. If you have travel plans on Thursday, please monitor the forecast closely over the coming days for updates as the details become clearer.

A cooler air mass next week will bring a 20-40% chance for snow levels dropping below 1000 feet each night from Mon, Feb 16 to Fri, Feb 20. We could see a rain/snow mix down to the valley floor, but snow would likely melt upon impact.

Please make sure you’re prepared!
Check your hose covers, and any other vulnerable spots on your home!
If you need help we’re open till 6pm tonight, and open at 8am Saturday if the worst case happens and you need our help!
Please check on your friends and neighbors too, help out if you can, and send them to B&I if they need us. 😊

We would rather have you prepare and nothing happens than caught out, so please take a walk around your place, secure anything that might get launched in high winds, and don’t forget to secure those Christmas Decorations!

Wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph is expected across southwest Washington and northwest Oregon on Wednesday, December 24. This graphic shows the timing of the strongest winds. The winds will start to the south in Lane County around 7 am, reach the Portland/Vancouver Metro area around 10 am, and southwest Washington around noon. The strong winds will persist 1 to 3 hours for each location.
