A bird?! A plane?! A…. BEAM!

Today we had the Top Out ceremony for the Sackett Building at Penn State!

A whole lot of early mornings, busted knuckles, hot days, cold days, weld smoke, crane picks, and “well, that wasn’t on the drawings” got us to this point. Proud of our crew for putting another project one step closer to the finish line. And a huge thanks to our crew for putting in the hours to get here! It’s been a long time coming but the end is near!

Special thanks to G.M. McCrossin Inc for rolling up their sleeves and helping make this job a success. We’re proud to be working alongside a team that’s committed to getting it done right!

It’s like Christmas… but in June! The guys spent the morning unboxing their new toy and surprise!.. it’s a new Hydraulic Press Brake!🥳🎉
We’d like to thanks Stitzer’s Crane Services for helping us unload it, and Allison Crane & Rigging for assisting us with setting the press in place.
The crew is eager to fire this machine up and see what kind of work it can really do. Stay tuned to see what projects we’re on to next! 💪🫡

We’re proud to be recognized with a Certificate of Appreciation from CPI today! 🤩
This reflects the strength of our co-op program and our shared commitment to giving students real-world, hands-on experience that prepares them for successful careers. We’re proud to support the next generation of skilled professionals and we’re grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with such a dedicated institution. It’s a great experience for our team, and it’s even better seeing these students improve their skills and confidence on the job.

No lecture classes out here! 🧑‍🏭
From learning how to read drawings, to layout, to fabrication- our Co-op students are getting hands-on experience day in and day out. With the guidance of Shawn, they have spent the afternoon welding on base plates and double checking that everything stays consistent with the drawings.
We’re here to teach them real-life skills, respect for the trade, and pride in their own work. No shortcuts! 💪

After months of preparation, implementation and dedication from our incredible team; We are pleased to announce that we are officially AISC certified in structural steel fabrication and er****on with a metal deck endorsement.

We will continue to strive to bring the highest quality of craftsmanship and premium products to our customers and integrity to our industry.

New year, new……. OFFICE!!🎉

With the purchase of the property next door, we’ve decided it was time for an office upgrade. But don’t worry! Our location will NOT change!

Renovations are officially underway on our new office building, and we couldn’t be more excited about it. This upgrade marks a major step forward for our company as we create a space designed for growth, collaboration, and all the behind-the-scenes magic that keeps our projects running smoothly. We can’t wait to turn this building into an office that fits our crew and our future.
Keep an eye out for some sneak peeks and maybe a little chaos as it all comes together!

Finally decided to set the star on the tree…🎄

Kidding!! The holiday season might have everyone slowing down, but not us! Our guys have been setting the *beam😉 high at the Sackett Building! Literally!
Bracing through the snow and the frigid temperatures the past few weeks, our guys have installed 3 of the 5 stair towers. Along with some other odds and ends, our team is officially halfway through the North addition. We have every intention of maintaining this momentum as we move forward!
Don’t worry, we would never forget about our favorite in-shop fabricators! They’ve been working hard making sure our site crews have everything they need WHEN they need it. A big thanks to them for keeping up and pushing through all the obstacles along the way!
