Our own Sarah Simon, P.E., recently gave a talk on how we worked with the city of Lee's Summit, Missouri, to mitigate flooding on the Little Blue River, a major watershed in a residential neighborhood in Lee's Summit. We will be featuring a case study soon to discuss this project and how it helped reshape this neighborhood.

Project Focus: Power Distribution Line Relocation from below ground to above ground, Northwest, Arkansas

Why is a once underground power line now being moved above ground?

While overhead lines are more exposed to weather and other risks, they’re actually less expensive to maintain and upgrade if necessary, often last longer than buried ones, and are much easier (and faster) to repair when something goes wrong!
