💥A team with no experience would have sent this giant tree through one of the many assets around it (cabin, garage, tractor+shed).

✅Not only are we fully insured for tree work; which most contractors that say they do tree work are not, we always walk through our jobs with a fine tooth comb to insure that all possible scenarios have been evaluated.

🔥This sweet gum was roughly 75’ tall and 4’ across at the bottom, with 70% of the trunk gone on the inside up about 20’. This tree was a problem waiting to happen. With little room for error, we put it on the ground safely.

🗣️Homeowners: Make sure you review with your contractor the expectations of the work and possible hazards before tackling something that could cost someone’s life or home!

🌪️Storms This Evening

There’s a few things to remember in the event you have tree related issues following a storm:

✅Always look overhead when you exit your home following the assumption a tree fell on your home or garage.
✅Always understand the dangers of pressure or stored energy created by a tree that is partially on a home and uprooted.
✅Never try to cut up a fallen tree that has brought down a power line unless it has been deenergized and verified.
✅Always call a professional to remove any trees or limbs from your roof. Sometimes an unqualified person removing the tree can cause further damage that insurance may not cover.
✅On that note: Make sure the professionals you hire are insured. If they cause further damage and do not have insurance coverage for “tree removal” specifically, it can cause a headache to decide who covers the cost.
