The entire team at Power-Flo Technologies would like to congratulate our founder, and CEO Jerry DiCunzolo on his NESA Outstanding Eagle Scout Award! This award recognizes Eagle Scouts who have brought great honor to the highest rank of The Boy Scouts of America through their person and professional contributions at the local, state, and regional level.

We would like to share this excerpt from his acceptance speech below, as it truly embodies the spirit of Power-Flo Technologies and who we are as a team, and as an organization.

“I have been fortunate to be successful in life and I have learned a few things along the way that I would like to share.
First, there are no shortcuts in life! You are already well aware of this as you all have worked hard to become Eagle Scouts. You must roll up your sleeves, and do the work.
Second, no man is an island. You must have a team working with you. At most, you can do the work of two people. With a strong team and good leadership you can accomplish great things!
Third, you must believe in yourself and a positive outcome! My team and I have been in many situations where most people thought we could never prevail. But, we knew we could. We did the work and created our own success! When you act as if failure is not an option it is amazing what you can accomplish.
But, as an entrepreneur I have learned that failure is the greatest teacher of all! Do not be afraid of failure. You will continually fail UPWARDS as you will not make the same mistake twice.
Eleanor Roosevelt, the niece of our Council’s namesake said “Learn from the mistakes of others. You can’t live long enough to make them all yourself.””
