Blueline Diesel Repair, LLC is now accepting applications for a part time employee, with full time opportunity. Equipment Service Technician, On-Site and In-Shop.
Hours are flexible. Mostly weekdays, although applicants should expect to have to work an occasional Saturday.
The rate of pay varies based upon experience and will be discussed at time of interview.
A resume is strongly suggested at time of application. Applicants MUST provide references.
Applicants MUST have diesel and/or equipment repair experience. Applicants need to show troubleshooting and problem solving skills. It is highly recommended that applicants have their own tooling, although our service trucks are fully stocked with tools and common parts.
**APPLICANTS MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE AND BE CAPABLE OF LIFTING HEAVY PARTS IN EXCESS OF 75-100LBS**
As a technician, you will be required to work on many makes and models of trucks and equipment, small or large. A broad range of experience is required. There will be a 90 day probationary period. Again, the pay will be based upon experience, skill-set and tooling.
Applicants should have “people” skills and be able to deal with customers via phone. Potential candidates need to be able to function in a shop environment AND on busy jobsites. Applicants will be required to travel (in a provided service truck) to get parts and respond to jobsites if needed. Candidates must be able to work well with others, as we currently have two other employees.
Applicants will also have the responsibility of documenting all services completed (Ex: Hours, make, model, serial number and ALL items used on said service.) Applicants will be required to re-stock the service trucks and report inventory used at the end of every shift.
