I take safety seriously because my family is counting on me to come home every day the same way I left. Before my shift begins, I make it a priority to inspect my tools, be aware of my surroundings, and wear the proper PPE. I also believe in looking out for my team because we’re a family.

At 25, I saw a friend get seriously hurt, and that experience changed the way I look at safety. My safety advice is to always take precautions, stay aware, and never take safety for granted. When we work safely, we stay focused and prevent costly mistakes.

That’s a wrap on United Alloy’s final Team Trek session of 2026!

We’re grateful to Chad Walker for leading another group of United Alloy leaders through our Culture and Leadership training at the Team Trek Learning Center in Tumbling Shoals, Arkansas. Through hands-on simulations and team-based challenges, our leaders strengthened their understanding of 100% responsibility while putting collaboration, communication, adaptability, and trust into practice. These experiences create opportunities to learn from one another, step outside our comfort zones, and grow together as a team.

As we close out another year of Team Trek, we’re grateful to everyone who helped make this year’s training a valuable experience for 46 leaders across all three of our locations. We look forward to seeing these lessons continue to shape how we lead and work together every day.
