A-B test on some porting on a 706 combo, nothing changed other than port work. Still got some power hiding in the rest of the induction package to find at a later date but we still found decent gains with some cylinder head work.

Making a few tweaks to a set of Dart 18 Degree Big Chief heads. Intake got some changes at the shortside radius, and exhaust port got some more bias and cleaned up a bit. Results fell right around where they should and have in the past. The same changes on a cast single 4 barrel 632 was 70 hp in a A-B dyno test a few years ago. We will see how a 706 reacts to the same treatment.

The difference in assembling parts and spending the extra few hours to make sure we don't have razor sharp edges scraping the oil film away from the parts. A little valve pocket and dome prep work can produce worth while results as well. We have a new cam from Powell Cams with a little more duration on exhaust side. Should have some dyno results for this freshen up with updates soon.

Here is a few shots of the process of getting a Edelbrock 28002 intake ready to bolt on a Big Cheif 632 we are working on going through and updating. Alot of hours goes into this type of work, but it pays off in the end. This intake flowed upwards of 40 cfm better from .600 lift up when flow tested on the cylinder head.
