Meet Talley Gettemy, our Engineering Intern for the summer!
Talley is a Civil Engineering student at the University of North Florida. Her interest in engineering grew after taking AP Environmental Science in High School, where she learned about water systems and environmental challenges.
Growing up in Phoenix, Arizona and later moving to Jacksonville gave Talley a unique perspective on water resources, and both these things led her to pursue civil engineering.
A fun fact about Talley is that she was a competitive swimmer growing up, so she’s always loved being around water.
From Talley herself: “I met some of the Four Waters team at a UNF Career Fair; I knew it would be a great fit because they were so welcoming, and they focus on water systems. I’m excited to be interning with Four Waters and learning more about this industry!”
