Speyside Bourbon Cooperage Speyside Bourbon Cooperage, Inc. operates in Jackson, OH and Atkins, VA.

Since 1947, Speyside Cooperage has produced the finest casks from the best American Oak. All our skill goes into making top quality barrels to meet the requirements and expectations of spirit-makers all over the world. Our aim is to ensure that barrels become a modern spirit-making instrument by combining age-old craftsmanship and state of the art techniques and equipment developed by our Research and Development Department. This and our dedication to our services have gradually persuaded us to use a broader range of oak sourced from different areas and set up businesses closer to our suppliers and customers throughout the world. Our Jackson, Ohio facility was established in 2015 and began producing new bourbon barrels in June 2016.

Speyside was proud to once again support the annual Log A Load For Kids Auction held in Elkins, WV on October 1st. Through log donations and purchases, the event raised approx. $148,000 with proceeds going to the WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital in Morgantown, WV. We’re excited to open our doors to the community this Saturday at our Jackson Cooperage for a special barrel sale!

🗓 Saturday, April 25, 2026
⏰ 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM

We’ll have a limited number of cull barrels available for purchase ($110 cash). These barrels are not guaranteed to hold liquid, but they make excellent pieces for indoor or outdoor decor. Perfect for planters, tables, rustic accents, and more.

Quantities are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to come early!
