UEMSI / HTV

UEMSI / HTV In the early 1970s, pipeline maintenance and inspection systems were anything but state-of-the-art. The company didn’t do it all via one product line, however.

The first pipeline inspection cameras were 8mm cameras retrofitted into a steel tube with window glass fixed onto the open end to be used as a viewing port. This showcases just how far the industry has come, with pan-and-tilt, self-lit cameras becoming the norm in the 2000s. All-the-while, a dedicated group of individuals in Wisconsin have grown with the times, providing quality, low-maintenance p

arts and equipment for the changing world. The current cast of United Environmental Manufacturing Supply Inc. / Hose and Televising has been in-place for nearly a decade, with three employees dating back to those early 8mm inspection systems. In 1991, the Predator color push camera system proved to a steady, trouble-free system. Three years later, the economical Chaser black-and-white camera push camera system was added to the lineup. Later, the initial ProCam system improved both in color imagery as well as upgraded recording methods. It was later superseded by the ProCam DVR System, which has proved to be UEMSI/HTV’s best-selling camera. Through the years, UEMSI/HTV has evolved its camera selection to provide duct inspection cameras, jetting cameras, pan-and-tilts as well as a full line of camera transports and underground location equipment. UEMSI/HTV is also North America’s largest distributor of sewer cleaning hose, while also supplying the industry with lateral, leader and Tyger-Tail® hose, with leader and Tyger-Tail hoses made in-house at our Menomonee Falls headquarters. UEMSI/HTV has also been able to add an impressive set of inventory to its product offering, ranging from the industry-standard UEM110 sewer cleaning hose swaging machine to a wide selection of manhole hooks, sewer plugs and dyes. A few of the characters have changed through the years, as has the name of the company, but for the time being and beyond, UEMSI/HTV can be trusted with the same quality product offering that you’ve come to expect for nearly three decades, supported by their knowledgeable workforce that are passionate about the products that come out of their shipping bay. Why? We’re United in an effort to not only best serve our clients, but get them what they need in a way that will make them come back time and time again, just like they have the last three decades.

JACKSON, Wisc. (February 15, 2026 ) -When we at UEMSI/HTV design something we know is going to help the industry and those in the field, we constantly try to improve it. Such is the case with the new U Express™push-pole wireless camera inspection system, which utilizes the U system’s frame and wheels, coupled with the Express system, which allows a user to inspect straight to their Apple device.

The heavy-duty U Express push-pole system’s reel comes equipped with 200’ of UEMSI/HTV’s proven multi-conductor, nylon-jacketed push-pole video cable. This push-pole video cable is the strongest in the industry enabling the user to push long runs, yet flexible enough to handle tight turns in small diameter piping. A water blocking gel encapsulates the individual wires within the push-pole to prevent water infiltration if it were to become damaged.
