JACKSON, Wisc. (February 15, 2026 ) -When we at UEMSI/HTV design something we know is going to help the industry and those in the field, we constantly try to improve it. Such is the case with the new U Express™push-pole wireless camera inspection system, which utilizes the U system’s frame and wheels, coupled with the Express system, which allows a user to inspect straight to their Apple device.

The heavy-duty U Express push-pole system’s reel comes equipped with 200’ of UEMSI/HTV’s proven multi-conductor, nylon-jacketed push-pole video cable. This push-pole video cable is the strongest in the industry enabling the user to push long runs, yet flexible enough to handle tight turns in small diameter piping. A water blocking gel encapsulates the individual wires within the push-pole to prevent water infiltration if it were to become damaged.

It seems like only a few weeks ago, I saw Bob at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. We discussed car projects and life.

The news of Bob's passing took me back in a big way. A few years ago, I had the great pleasure of introducing Bob to friends of mine within the motorsports world at Road America, in conjunction with a vintage race held there. I explained to them that Bob was a good friend who established an internationally-known monthly magazine and an annual trade show that promoted our industry’s manufacturers of equipment, service parts and other wastewater service products, ranging from portable toilets to pipeline cleaning and vacuum equipment.

His trade shows also held several safety seminars yearly that focused on keeping users of the industry’s products and machinery safe in their various job sites. We often participated in these seminars, as user safety is paramount to us.

Without his company, Cole Publishing, I know our company, UEMSI/HTV, and many other companies within our industry would not have found the success we have all experienced. But we did, many thanks to his vision and leadership.

Thank you for everything you did for us over the years, Bob. Your smile, friendship and wisdom will be greatly missed.

Product Release: The G20188LM Quick Disconnect

With the addition of so many washdown gun accessories in the past year to our catalog, we felt it might be time to visit an old sketch we drew up a while back. From paper to design to a finished, working product, we give you the G20188LM 1/2" x 1/2" MNPT Stainless Steel Disconnect w/Locking Sleeve. Yes, Stainless Steel, like all of our quick disconnects.

Much like our G20188M, the ball bearings are stainless steel as well, not plated steel, and the seal is made of Viton™ construction, not Buna rubber like our competition. Both of these improvements equal longevity and a more rugged product for service.

🚨UEMSI/HTV Adds 7” Aluminum Vacuum Tube to Vast Offering🚨

JACKSON, Wisc. (August 21, 2025) – For the past 36 years, UEMSI/HTV has listened to our customer’s feedback and needs to align our product offering with the ever-changing landscape of the sewer cleaning and hydro excavation industries. Some say its our customer service that sets us apart from our competition. We’d like to think its just the right way to do things.

With that said, UEMSI/HTV is pleased to announce we’ve added 7” aluminum Dura Tube™ to our product line. This .115” wall aluminum tubing is the middle ground between our 6” and 8” offerings, and is highly-sought after for many in the industry.
‘It took some time to roll out, but just know that what we do behind the scenes is always aimed at saving the customer time and money,’ said UEMSI/HTV’s Rick Dresang. ‘Anyone who has used Dura Tube knows it’s the industry leader for vacuum and dig tubing, and we’re not taking any shortcuts.
