Teton MudPots at the Art Association of JH

Teton MudPots at the Art Association of JH Two day sidewalk sale of local art! A ceramics group within the Art Association of Jackson Hole in Jackson, WY. The raffle is held in December.

The group raises money through pottery sales and a raffle. Sales are held twice a year, one in late June and the other in early December. The prizes are made by its members and the workshop artists that teach during the year. Funds raised go towards making visiting artist workshops cheaper for all who take them and to buying equipment for the studio. The club also organizes exhibitions. Recent sho

ws include the Rendezvous Ceramic Invitational held summer of 2010 which included 15 artists invited by Sam Dowd, Manager of the Ceramics Dept., those 15 invited artists each invited one additional artist. The result was a diverse group of ceramic artists from across the US. Most recently, the Teton MudPots hosted a show that invited the Driggs Clay Club over to the Jackson side of the Tetons. The show, "On the Other Side," will run at the Art Association Lobby Gallery, through the end of May. It will then travel to Victor, ID, "on the other side" of the Tetons and be shown at the Tinelli Bros for 3 weeks. The opening will be at 6-9pm on June 4, 2011.
