On Wednesday, at their Business Partner Recognition Awards ceremony, Accord had the honor of accepting the "New Partner of the Year" award from Moraine Park Technical College. Accord engaged MPTC to upskill and reskill some of our team members in the areas of supervision and management skills, Six Sigma Green Belt, and Spanish in the workplace. Investing in our employees through our partnership with MPTC helps position Accord for continued growth and success. Learning drives progress and we've seen that belief come to life in very real ways! We are grateful for the recognition and look forward to working with MPTC for years to come.

In March of 2023, Accord was awarded a Fast Forward Training Grant from the State of Wisconsin to support on site training of our employees. Over the past year and a half the team at Accord has engaged in everything from Workplace English, to Blue Print Reading, to Competencies of Management. 10 different classes were offered and every employee has participated in at least one class. Our trainings wrap up next week and we are so grateful for the opportunity to invest in our employees in this way. In alignment with our Core Values we are 100% Committed to the personal and professional growth of each of our team members. Thank you WI DWD for the opportunity and well done team!

Today Accord celebrated the retirement of our longest tenured employee. Rick has been with Accord for 28 of our 35 years. He will certainly be missed but we wish Rick a retirement filled with good health, relaxation, and lots of great hunting.

A proud day for Accord as we held a kickoff party to unveil our new Core Values and company Mission Statement. Team members were surprised with shop banners, t shirts, and new office artwork illustrating our values and mission. Our Leadership Team has been thoughtfully working behind the scenes to put this into motion. We celebrated with breakfast and a little chat about why these values are meaningful to Accord. Watch for exciting updates as we strive to showcase our Keys to Success with our team, customers, and the community.
