Overview:
The Pump Down Supervisor is responsible for the safe onsite pressure pumping operation at the wellsite. Operators must have basic knowledge of a standard pump package with the ability to troubleshoot equipment at the job site.
Responsibilities:
• Maintains all equipment to ensure it is operating efficiently and looks presentable
• Manages project deadlines and communicates progress to the appropriate individuals
• Oversees other pump down operators on the job
• Responsible for recording e-tickets
• Communicates with employees, customer representatives, and third-party vendors on site
• Able to rig up and rig down equipment
• Complies with NOT safety guidelines and procedures
• Able to work a 14 on/ 7 off schedule
Education/Experience Required:
• 3+ years of related experience
• Familiar with MDT Pump Software
• Strong working knowledge of Frac Pumps
• Valid Class A CDL license
• H2S, Forklift and Safeland certification
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
Physical Conditions:
• Able to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds on routine basis.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
• Able to deal with wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat/cold
• Work environment may include moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, airborne particles and moderate to loud noise, requiring consistent use of appropriate PPE.
