Overview:

The Pump Down Operator will support the Pump Down Supervisor with field operations.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains all equipment to ensure it is operating efficiently and looks presentable
• Follows instructions provided by the Pump Down Supervisor and communicates progress of the job
• Able to run a water transfer pump
• Operates high pressure iron valves
• Able to rig up and rig down equipment
• Complies with NOT safety guidelines and procedures
• Able to work a 14 on/ 7 off schedule with flexibility to work days or nights

Education/Experience Required:

• 1+ years of related experience
• Familiar with MDT Pump Software
• Knowledge of Pump Down operations
• Valid driver’s license
• H2S, Forklift and Safeland certification
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written

Physical Conditions:

• Able to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds on routine basis.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
• Able to deal with wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat/cold
• Work environment may include moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, airborne particles and moderate to loud noise, requiring consistent use of appropriate PPE.

Overview:

The Mud Engineer will be responsible for mixing, controlling, and testing drilling fluids for the drilling process.

Responsibilities:

• Measure, test, and supervise the running of fluid missing and pumping, including technical analysis and specific product and practical recommendations for controlling fluid properties under minimal supervision
• Maintain fluid properties on rig sites by testing fluid properties
• Maintain inventory at customer well sites
• Maintain effective customer service by providing rig-site customers and coordinators information regarding the progress of the rig site
• Provide ongoing support to the operations team

Education/Experience Required:

• High school education or equivalent
• 1 + years of experience as a Mud Engineer on completion drillouts
• Attention to detail
• Experience with water based light weight mud systems
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
