When aerospace components fail cleanliness specs, it is often because conventional deburring and cleaning methods weren't designed for the geometries involved.

Cooling holes. Cross-drillings. Blind internal passages. Deep features in structural components, actuators, and fuel system parts where chips accumulate after machining. Trade bench time for a process that is designed to handle these types of parts consistently.

Sugino's vertical-type skiving and burnishing machine takes advantage of tool weight and gravity, and delivers superior accuracy and surface finishing compared to a horizontal system.

The vertical design is ideal for the finishing and bore sizing for hydraulic cylinders and other similar parts.

This machine can process bores up to 4 ft 3 in. (1300 mm) in length.

Sugino is the sole manufacturer of this unique configuration.
