Industrial Mechanic to Work on Bakery Equipment
Seeking an energetic and reliable industrial mechanic with 2 or more years of experience in the repair
and servicing of bakery equipment. The mechanic will be on-site at various customer locations assisting in,
installing, servicing, repairing, calibrating, and testing bakery equipment.
Responsibilities:
• Drive to various customer locations throughout California and other states.
• Clean, troubleshoot, and repair various bakery equipment.
• Ability to work safely in multiple working environments and follow lockout/tag-out procedures.
• Ability to work in confined spaces which require kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
• Ability to work in varying conditions including but not limited to excessive noise, extreme heat,
extreme cold, and humidity.
• Periodically work on an on-call rotation on weekends
• MUST be available for Overtime.
• Perform Customer training and ensure a positive customer experience by performing
installations and start-up customer equipment.
• Perform site visits for small projects and coordinate activities with project managers and/or
installers.
• When not assisting technicians on the field, will be in the warehouse helping to prepare packages,
cleaning, sweeping, and other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Valid California Driver’s License.
• Clean Driving Record (DMV print-out required)
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook.
• Ability to stay motivated and work independently with no supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• 2 years minimum experience with electrical systems with the ability to read electrical
schematics and troubleshoot.
• 2 years minimum experience servicing and maintaining food equipment.
• Ability to navigate Windows-based computer systems.
